Innovation and vision: working in partnership for Calvin Klein
Following an in-store digital signage design as part of a complete shop fit of the Frencheye store at Westfield Stratford, the luxury tailoring brand recommended Triplar’s services to Freehand, an innovative company that integrates digital screens and signage into the customer experience and fixtures within stores.
Freehand was looking to work with a shop fitting specialist that matched its own ambition and attention to detail; Triplar fit the bill perfectly. Frencheye had recommended Triplar’s quality and professionalism in delivering all mechanical and electrical works, decoration, manufacture of the furniture and installation, right down to fitting a shop front in time for Westfield’s grand opening. This involved sourcing a new glazing company at the eleventh hour after Frencheye’s original supplier pulled out.
Freehand was suitably impressed and contacted Triplar, instigating a working partnership that has yielded impressive results.
Combining technological vision and practical, in-store expertise, Triplar and Freehand quickly secured several projects including iconic brand, Calvin Klein. These involved Triplar developing and manufacturing a broad range of high quality bespoke fixtures capable of accommodating digital screens for the retailer’s CK One campaign, launched throughout its flagship stores in the UK.
Triplar’s expert joinery team worked from the firm’s Northamptonshire-based production facility to create the fittings on-time and on-budget, constructing durable units that were in line with the vision but sensitive to the requirements of specific stores. This included cladding for a column that incorporated digital displays and was used at a Calvin Klein concession in a Belgium department store.
