Brightening up for Nokia

Triplar’s maintenance team is tasked with undertaking a huge range of projects, many of which have a high degree of logistical complexity.

Nowhere was this more apparent than when Triplar carried out a project for Nokia at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 5.

The works included an update to the store’s lighting, LED maintenance, installation of new electrical plug points to the front of the store so that staff could conducts demonstrations, as well air-con cleaning and maintenance.

The lighting improvements and repairs improved the visibility of product displays in the store and a central lightbox.

Working within the strict security guidelines that relate to working ‘airside’ at any airport meant the team had to plan thoroughly before starting work, as well as remaining thoroughly organised while on site.
